A Citi Golf is not just for driving. It’s for living. So although every Citi Golf boasts the same funky looks, cheeky character and under-the-skin German engineering, we’ve tweaked each of our 5 models to better suit different lifestyles…

If you can’t go anywhere without a soundtrack and a car to match the beat, then the top-of-the-range VeloCiTi 1.6i is made for you. The powerful 74kW 1.6i engine purrs quietly, while you pump the tunes through the four speakers of your front loader sound system.

The Citi 1.6i has the same fuel-injected engine, designed to give you a great drive plus improved fuel consumption.

If you’re interested in a fuel-saving performer with some definite oomph, then choose the gutsy Citi 1.4i or the VeloCiTi 1.4i (which comes with the same sound system as the VeloCiTi 1.6i).

Want rhythm? Just add beat. The new Citi Rhythm 1.4, with its standard Famar Radio/CD/MP3 player, 14" alloy wheels and low fuel consumption, is sure to add a bounce to your step and a soundtrack to the road.

There’s also the Chico 1.4 - the Citi that’ll put the biggest smile on your face, as it’s the most affordable car in the range.

Design

Equipped with the latest features, whilst holding fast to its legendary shape, you can rest assured that the Citi Golf remains forever young.

A new, lower front grille that follows the lines of the main grille, adds a dynamic element to the front of the Citi, enhancing its vibrant look and adding an air of even more sportiness. The back of the Citi looks just as good as the front, characterised by a large circular brake light, a gleaming rectangular reverse light, and an integrated indicator light. Every Citi comes with a substantial amount of street cred – funked up wheelrims, bigger front windows, and side view mirrors located further forward. There’s even a trendy new interior trim available in five different colours. Want rhythm? Just add beat. A radio/CD/MP3 player comes standard with the VeloCiTi and Rhythm models and as an optional feature on the rest of the range.

A digital clock makes sure you’re never late, a covered power point allows you to charge your cellphone on the go, and two-cup holders keep your shake, smoothie or latte firmly in place.

And because you’ll want to spend a large amount of time in your Citi, we’ve gone to great lengths to make the inside as comfy as possible. Every Citi Golf has height-adjustable front headrests, soft touch indicators and a racy steering-wheel with soft grip and trim.
