Range

The new Golf GTI is available in 2 heart-racing models - the Golf 2.0 GTI Manual and the Golf 2.0 GTI Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG) with tipshift paddles on the steering-wheel.

Differences aside, both the Golf GTI Manual and the Golf GTI DSG offer a ride like no other. So take the wheel.

Design

It's a beauty. It's not only the power of the engine that will get your heart racing - the new GTI's chiselled definition, redesigned front and attention to detail are bound to make you look twice. For the first time in 30 years, a black independent radiator grille, with its honeycomb grid hemmed in with a signatory red stripe, sets the new GTI apart from any other Golf in the range. The integrated front spoiler below and the 15 mm lower sports running gear create the impression of a true sports car. 17-inch alloy wheels are fitted as standard, with red brake callipers that add GTI flair. The striking roof edge spoilers, stainless steel double exhaust pipe ends and newly designed lower bumper finish the GTI’s exterior look... personifying compact sports car.

Inside the GTI, newly designed sports seats provide maximum comfort and sporty practicality. The Golf GTI’s legendary three-spoke steering wheel has been enhanced with aluminium trimmings and perforated leather for an even firmer grip
